Collection Study Center
The Philadelphia History Museum Building will include a new flexible-use Collection Study Center for the public on the third floor of the refurbished structure.
This space is designed for staff-directed programs and will feature interaction with collections professionals and behind-the-scenes encounters with some of the most interesting objects in the Museum collections. The program area of the Collection Study Center will host group presentations such as Quest for Freedom, a popular program for adults and children that tells the stories of Philadelphia’s pivotal role in the movement to abolish slavery.
