Live and Learn Weekend sponsored by the Pennsylvania Humanities Council
The Philadelphia History Museum at the Atwater Kent will play host to the final portion of a three part weekend hosted by the African American Museum in Philadelphia celebrating the book: GREAT SPEECHES BY AFRICAN AMERICANS.
Museum historian Cynthia Little, Ph.D. will present a program using objects from the Museum's collection to explore the weekend's theme. This portion includes a delicious lunch provided by Brown's Kitchen, hosted in one of the Museum's renovated galleries. Historical reenactors will also participate.
